    Frequently asked questions about the Christmas buffet

    When is the Christmas buffet served?

    We have twelve sittings between 26 November and 19 December 2026. On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays the buffet is served at 18.30. On Sunday 6 December we start earlier, at 13.00.

    What does it cost?

    SEK 765 per person including VAT. Children pay SEK 35 per year of age up to the age of 12.

    How do I book?

    Can we come as a company or a larger party?

    Yes, we are glad to welcome both companies and private parties. If you are a larger group who would prefer a date other than the listed sittings, get in touch and we will sort it out.

    Can you cater for allergies?

    Yes. Note any allergies and special requests in the booking form and the kitchen will prepare for them.

    Can we stay the night?

    Yes. We have hotel rooms and seven cabins with views over Lake Sommen, so you can turn the Christmas buffet into an overnight stay.

    Where is Lugnalandet?

    Lugnavägen 4 in Sommen, ten kilometres north of Tranås, right next to the Sommen bathing area and campsite. From Linköping it takes just under an hour by car.
